Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. She was awarded the best actress award for her performance in Nashville in the 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013 in which she played Claudia Shepard. In 2015, she was in her role as Jerrica Jem for the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with the parents Wendy as well as Ashley. She is the younger sibling of Ally. Aubrey was a performer with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. She was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School, in which she was the valedictory of the class of 2012. Harvard University admitted her, but she had to agree to her admission the second time due to her Nashville role. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in the made-for television movies Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. The Good Mother was her character. Layla Grant, a major character from the Nashville second season of the drama. Peeples revealed that she has bipolar disorder when she spoke in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples on September 14, 2014, as being one of America's best young actors.
